This June, Huawei launched its first HarmonyOS powered smartwatch – the Huawei Watch 3 series that consisted of two models – Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro. These new smartwatches are designed to deliver a brand user experience on the wrist.

Huawei has recently concluded the HarmonyOS stable rollout in the Chinese market. However, the smartphones running on the latest HarmonyOS version have the ability to detect the charger that does not fast-charge the device even if it supports fast charging because this may be dangerous to the smartphone.
Huawei’s HarmonyOS operating system has charge protection features that can identify the fake charger. Previously, Bruce Lee, president of Huawei’s consumer business product line said that HarmonyOS comes with a charger smart identification function, which can easily recognize fake chargers that are even labeled with Huawei branding.
According to the information, some of the Huawei Mate 20 X smartphones user running on HarmonyOS 2.0 reported that they have found a notification “This data cable will slow down the charging speed, please use the official recommended data cable and connect it correctly.”
